Chris
Owner & Lead Technician

The fearless leader himself! Chris has a long-time love affair with all things mechanical, and likes nothing better than getting to the roots of problems in diesel and gas engines alike. His passion has driven Chris to train on the job since 2007, earn multiple ASE certifications, and invest countless hours into researching the best automotive repair and maintenance practices.
In 2021 Chris’s hard work paid off. He now considers himself blessed to own CM Automotive – and even more so to work alongside his beautiful wife Rachelle. When he’s not in our shop, you are very likely to find Chris blasting across Montana blacktop on his motorcycle.
Rachelle
Business Manager

Rachelle earned her master’s degree in canine behavioral science, which we believe more than qualifies her to serve as one of CM Automotive’s top dogs. Though her understanding of engines may be limited, we could not deliver consistently excellent results without Rachelle’s finely honed management, organizational and bookkeeping skills.
Rachelle became CM Automotive’s business manager when her husband Chris bought the shop in 2021. “Learning something new every day. Building long-lasting relationships with our vendors and so many members of our community. Working shoulder to shoulder with my husband and our amazing team members, who are like family to us. Joining CM Automotive has been intensely rewarding!” says Rachelle.
When she isn’t hard at work, Rachelle enjoys hiking, joining Chris on motorcycle adventures, and serving as president of Helena’s local BIZ to BIZ chapter.
Antone
Auto Technician

Any shop would be fortunate to have a technician like Antone on its roster. As an ASE certified steering and suspension expert with over a decade of on-the-job training under his belt, Antone loves nothing more than treating our customers to the smoothest rides of their lives.
“I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, and am grateful to work in a shop that gives me so many opportunities to keep developing my skills. I also appreciate our commitment to making sure each job is done right the first time, as well as our service writers who do so much to make each customer’s experience as pleasant as possible,” says Antone.
Mike
Lead Service Advisor

Our lead service advisor Mike uses his extensive military mechanical training to help keep the wheels turning at CM Automotive. No job is too big or too small for Mike, although he especially enjoys expansive projects like engines and transmissions. His uncanny memory has proven surprisingly helpful to our operation. “I love working with everyone here – especially Cory” says Mike.
Raychelle (AKA Red)
Service Advisor/Lube Technician

Raychelle attended trade school for automotive mechanics, and worked in shops for several years until an unfortunate accident forced her to retire her wrench. She now works behind the counter instead of under a lift, although her encyclopedic knowledge of tools, parts, vehicle restoration, and custom builds (with an emphasis on performance diesel) has proven inestimably helpful to our technicians.
“I spend each workday surrounded by wonderful people (team members and customers included) doing what I love most: helping our neighbors keep their vehicles in peak condition. I can confidently say that working at CM Automotive doesn’t feel like a job at all,” says Raychelle.
